Yep. We finally replaced the Saturn Vue. If you weren’t aware, I totaled it and we finally got the check from insurance yesterday. Yesterday was also technically the last day we got the loaner, although I finagled a couple more days out of the other person’s insurance. Won’t need it, though, as we bought one last night. Piper did amazingly well through the 3 hour ordeal, but we walked away with a brand new one of these:

In case you couldn’t tell, that’s a Lexus RX 300. What!?! Yeah, we got a really good deal on it, so that’s what we walked away with. I never in a jillion years would have seen myself in one of these. Let’s double that… two jillion years.

Also, in case you couldn’t tell, that’s Andy Rooney in that picture. If he’s got one, then everyone should have one. I see him on TV from time to time, but can never quite figure out if everything’s going well, there. Sometimes the stories he tells ramble on for a while and then stop without much of an actual “story” behind the scenes. I figure the only difference between Andy Rooney and the crazy old guy sitting at home in his chair, retired, watching his program is that he’s actually got a program to talk to and the retired guy has to make do with whoever stops by when he has a story to tell.
